There was so much anticipation of profits by permitting any and all performance enhancing drugs in 2042, but this only helped raise attendance slightly faster than normal growth margins.

2047, entered David Betterman CEO and rebrander of Hockey to Bladeskate. “The crowds are speaking! We need to bring this back to old time hockey!” he drew thunderous applause. “We need more violence”, and some of the players were looking around nervously while the rest jacked up on PED kept applauding louder. “And not just that lame violence they had in the 70s back when they had penalties for stuff. That’s not old time enough violence. Lets go back to the Colosseum days! But… a Colosseum of the future!” Some hands raised, but the CEO raised both of his and lowered them saying,”Questions will be taken after the meeting is over and I have left. No goals anymore, just which team can knock out the other one first. Goalies will still remain, but they’re heavily armored but cannot leave their half of the zone. The puck is replaced with a glowing plasma ball which can be used for tactical purposes.”

And so it began, despite protests of some players, they were contractually obligated to engage in this new and twisted type of blood sport. Some players were very happy, they now got a significant raise. Others were not so happy because they were already rich beyond their wildest dreams so money was no object, but pain was… Once the ball got rolling, attendance was so high, no one kept watching most other sports, and there was no stopping this change. Bladeskate was here to stay. The names changed, quite often in the same team in the same season, but the game stayed true as it always has been: Men vs Men vs ‘Things Resembling Men’ struggling to survive in a heated war on ice.

Venus was such a great Utopia many years ago, back before some remember, but there is no hiding history from the universal data stores. Why would a Utopia be destroyed what appears deliberately in order to set up a system of scarcity? What motive could a man, woman, alien, denizen or even ferret have for destroying a place with no scarcity in order to have people fight and steal for resources… Oh yeah, forgot, he’s a weasel. We full speed ahead to MOBA/MMORPG. If I bust tail, it’d only take a few days, but I want to not due crunch so I can marathon for the long haul of decades of updates.

Upcoming Action MMORPG Starfighter General has lots of interesting never before seen techs:

6) Space dungeons: Competitive zones with different rule sets, rewards winner… Once every 30 min – 1 hr, a zone is super charged with rewards, but you need to find clues to find it.

7) Resource trading like elite: Player vs player trading, no bind one equip, nothing off table unless abuses start happening. Frankly I don’t care if you buy stuff offline either. I’m for player’s freedom of exchange.

8) PVP: If attacked while peace flagged, they pay you to repair your ship or get a bounty on their head. If the bounty gets high enough, their character gets put in jail for a few days. When they log on, they’re in jail. People can visit em tho.

9) Grand Space Opera: 4x emperors around you trying to conquer the galaxy like Master of Orion on a 500 billionish system scale! This drives dynamic questing and galactic landscape changes.

10) Live Game Masters: This will be Omnipotent Role Play. Your characters can do anything within reason of their character’s skills, and change anything in the universe permanently. The most entertaining role play sessions will be sent to a medium-high budget animation studio and their characters will be on a Netflix/US.Theatre/online Anime movie.

I’m having health conditions and being resource limited isn’t helping. Even just a couple hundred bucks would go a long way towards rushing out a pre-Christmas release.

Starfighter General is Free To Play and I want to keep it that way for good. There is a chance malicious hackers could attack our server, clients and scam our players. If this becomes an issue, you need to make it so hackers lose more than they gain. Obviously player accounts found hacking proven by software will be banned. We have some flawless detectors and even will double check with game masters. Do not hack. Being able to say auto aim or auto dodge a few shots is nothing compared to the power you gain from a weeks worth of play, let alone years. Don’t lose years worth of playing honestly to throw it all away hacking, cheaters never win, not on Earth, not in the spirit realm. Be true to yourself.

Players are less willing to even TRY a hack in risk of getting banned. Let’s be clear, TRYING a hack, is USING a hack. If you TRY a cheat hack and get banned, you got banned because you USED a cheat hack. Do not even try it. Do not risk it. If you like a game or sport, you never cheat in it or it is no longer sporting. Some people use the “excuse”, they were just TRYING a hack, nah, that doesn’t fly. If you just wanted to see if you can get away with a cheat, and you get caught, you got caught cheating. Cheaters get banned. And everyone in the player base is happy, except yourself who gave in to evil selfish desires.

In addition to players being banned, hackers making new hacks will be sometimes caught in the process. If they are caught, hackers normally just VPN a new account and keep at it. The only thing that slows them is a pay wall or leveling wall. Part of discouraging cheat makers is having them lose more than they gain. I want to keep Starfighter General free to play always. But if we need to wack a mole these cheat makers, we may have to make new players pay to play. Old players with semi active accounts will not have to pay the fee, just new players to discourage hackers.

These two tactics of banning players and putting up a pay wall act together in tandem. Cheat hack makers realize it costs them money and a lot of work… And the players ain’t buying their cheat hacks it anyway because they’d rather honor the God of Love and Truth and enjoy a game. Once you take away all the rules, say everyone gets invulnerability, infinite resources and nothing is a challenge… It ceases to be fun. The reason you do not cheat goes further than it being the right thing or not. The reason you cheat is so you can enjoy your game or sport at all. Be moral. Be honest. Cultivate and encourage respect of rules in games.

Anti-Cheat is very important to me. I was #1 in the world at Starcraft in 1999, but quit because of the map hackers and win traders on Battle.net. The #2 guy went to Korea and won for 3 years straight. I would have loved to have had a chance to compete with him live for he never beat me online even once. Yet I was not aware of these tournaments for I thought Starcraft died because of the cheat hackers.

Cheat hackers have been ruining games for ages, and our gamer culture needs to be very oppositional against them. Some of these guys even send out spam emails pretending to be the company so they can get your password and take all your equipment and sell on ebay. Well I’m 100% for allowing you guys to sell on ebay! But I do not want evil slimeballs robbing little kids of their possessions. People used to go,”But it is just virtual items, it ain’t like real stealing.” If you’re selling on ebay then the stolen goods are of value and it is real stealing.

Look, I don’t mind if you buy or sell anything anywhere in game or out of game. My fellow devs are encouraging me to get my own crypto currency in game. We want to do lots of cool stuff for the community. If you want to make a living being a jerk pirate in game and sell people’s stuff you looted after you blew up their ships, go for, that is within the rules. If you cheat and have everyone blow up, make stuff on the server, or steal people’s accounts, this hurts other players and is not fair. We have a very aggressive anti-cheater stance, and this post is so players too understand they should take one too.

Cheaters never win. God sees all.

The Prime Dimension is the Dimensions of Dimensions where by controlling it, you can control others. We enter it from all our different dimensions to take place in a grand space opera for control of all realities before and after. If you die in the Prime Dimension, that is fine for all other dimensions mirror it. Simply get a version of yourself just before you died, and you’re back in the game. This process takes some time, and you can use other crew members while waiting. Also you’ll probably need to repair the destroyed ship.

As the Prime Dimension Portal calibrates, you send drone probes to explore it, retrieve data, alien artifacts and do conscription missions. For now, this amounts to daily quests and news of the rapdily approaching MMORPG launch. Time to get excited. For whatever you power up now will help you get a jump on the MMORPG.
