Rumor has it that the dimensional alignment afforded in The Prime Dimension allows for super powers. Other rumors say that super powers are allowed by spiritual forces. Other rumors say science fiction has become reality and allows for super powers. Other rumors are that you can buy a weasel in California if you ask in pet stores about their illegal ferret trading ring in the back.

Rumors are rumors, but super powers are real in Starfighter General… How do you acquire them? You need to find out if you even want them… Look at the famous super heroes of the Starfighter General universe.

Magnetic Arm Man:

Magnetic Arm Man is a dwarf of a man in stature who is an engineer. He lost his arm to a tragic incident with an automatic door with the safety locks he turned off. He read some manuals online how to make a cybernetic arm, but something went different.

His arm works functionally like a cybernetic arm, but as he gets angry, it gains more strength. Unfortunately as he gets angry, it also gains more magnetism. So if his opponent makes him upset enough, he may get so magnetized that he goes flying to the nearest street lamp, building or random vehicle and gets stuck there until he’s no longer angry. Unfortunately for Magnetic Arm Man, he has not learned anger management yet, so the act of getting stuck out of a fight makes him irate and cursing like a Scottsman.

Repetitive Action Man:

Repetitive Action Man has both a blessing and a curse. If he ever does one sequence of actions three times in a row, he starts doing them faster and faster until acted upon by an outside force significant enough to knock him out of it. So if he punches three times with his left arm, he will keep doing that until shoved. If he forgets to throw a jive step in his walking, after three steps, he’ll be walking accelerating to an incredible rate of speed(still walking) until he hits something.

Optic Nerve Man:

This guy is blessed with regenerating eyes and nerves of steel. In fact he has a very very long amount of optic nerve… So much that he can shoot his eyes out and entangle his enemies like a lasso. Then poor guy has a hard time knowing what is going on even though his optic nerves are impenetrable to attack.

So take it or leave it… Super powers sound great on paper, until you have the ability to fall through floors or turn your car invisible making your insurance agency start to ask questions… Do you want super powers at all at this point? Is it worth the risk?

PS: You have 30 character slots, some characters will permanently be changed in the course of the game, but major issues and such you don’t want to avoid with like Gibblet Lycanthrope will be flagged to only ever apply to one character unless you choose different in options( Game Master Plot Discretion).

I want to game dev a lot, but settling into a new place is so tough. Cleaning my way to surviving. Coding resumes VERY soon, probably tomorrow if not now. Here’s some random brainstorm stuff I ran over. Nothing is off the table. Cancel culture doesn’t slow this game down… In fact we’ll do out of control stuffs.

Hey, fourth move in 14 months, life was pretty unstable since my Grandmother passed, a bit of Book of Job, Joseph and his brothers, David running from Saul, Jeremiah, and so on. There’s absolutely no way my past 14 months was normal. Take the craziest year you heard anyone have, and multiply it by 10 or 20. It’s been THAT out of control. But we’re in control now, dev is coming back online. Even my old colleague Steve is back making UI. I’m finishing Battlemon where I want it today. Tonight we dev Starfighter General some.

God bless, and pray for this game to come out. Its tough for a very small team to push out a MMO with new techs never seen before in gaming with no funding. Normally you have dozens working on a MMO with tens of mil funding, but I don’t have that luxury… Quite the opposite. I had 40ish hospital visits due to onset of diabetes/kidney and other stuff… The opposition is very fierce, but God loves to take you to a point where you have no odds of winning and then defeat the enemy or sail you above the mountain. Those who formed Singularity thought the only problem would be creating it and making sure that their rule would be unchallenged. The singularity was easily achieved in the mid 21rst century, and those who were rich and powerful remained rich and powerful. Those who could not afford this technology perished, so the rat race became more intense with some struggling as hard as they could to acquire the money to “immortalize themselves” into the Singularity. This normally resulting in much criminality and corruption which is common with people acquiring this much wealth and not helping those around them with generosity. Once they got in, linking consciousness and brain to a binary computer, things went seemingly well for them until the abberation and the expectable unexpected happened.

It turns out that you could link brain and consciousness both to a binary computer, but once your brain completely biodegraded to nothing, all you are left with is consciousness and a binary computer. The powerful leaders of the world were still themselves inside a robot, but they were no longer capable of original ideas or free thinking, their minds became limited to the programming that was upon the computer. Attempts to grow brains and reattach them to the consciousness left in the binary computers was to no avail, it was a one way transfer of information that could not be reconstructed back to humanity. Yes, they knew they were themselves, they had self awareness. But they had no power to make their own decisions, they have become souls living binary existence without freewill in robots. This became known as the Binularity and to the World Leaders of the 21rst century it became a terrifying and tortured existence, almost as terrifying to them as the thought of not being the one in charge.

Yogi Berra has a quote,”When You Come to a Fork in the Road, Take It” This means not to ho hum over a decision you might have to change direction for now or for a while. In this case, it is a two day direction redirect. My aunt came down with Lymph Node cancer and still is stoic and walking, but she is the reason why I made Battlemon, So I want her to play it in parks before she can’t walk anymore. I only have about 1-2 day of dev and we can be making park adventures.

Battlemon was made to help a Make a Wish Kid be able to say he made video games. He’s my cuz and he manages with what he got cuz he’s awesome. Quite literally cooler than me or Lar. David is awesome and kicks butt. So it will be nice to play in the park with him too!

This has to be done, and won’t take much dev time out of Starfighter. I’m still trying to restore a proper project so…. I’m actually not losing much dev time at all, bouncing between both computers devving a MMORPG and a Pokemon Go competitor at the same time.

Hello, today, had a rough patch of experimental packages in Unity not being cool.

Tomorrow I’ll try and launch a super cool Monty Hall aka Lets Make a Deal type game when you log on for your daily. It will have randomized elements and you’ll get glimpses into the MMORPG and items you may not easily be able to obtain in the MMORPG right now… So when the MMO launches soon, you’ll be stronger than the rest. Fun Stuff: Games like World of Warcraft shunned the idea of disease plaguing the empire in towns and from one person to another. However, we think that could be fun in some situations. Game Dev Log: We have 11 hours til Single Player MOBA comes out, so maybe tonight 2 am or so release.

Then we have about 40 hours til Multiplayer Moba comes out, which is the VERY CORE of the MMORPG engine.

Sorry bros and gals about the patch delay. I got tripped up on a Unity issue of loading on the fly that they fixed but they didn’t have standardized. I’m a huge nerd who likes his small pieces or wire and software architect over product pushing.

I do not have the slider for volume yet, but that will be sometime, let me know if it is a priority for you.
