Everything in Starfighter General is crafted by Player or NPC. Sometimes by hand, sometimes with tool desk, sometimes with tool station or tooling ship and sometimes the product to product process makes waste. A lot of time this waste is valuable, but takes up space and you don’t want to deal it. So ships can expel it. For small ships, a small amount of barely valuable waste is dropped. But very large, very powerful capital ships are spewing large amounts of barely valuable waste, so trash pickers follow em and clean space and make a couple bucks.
The ships following these big capital ships have to be of favorable faction obviously or neutral… But it does bring a weird mix of bedfellows since some of the people who want capital ship waste are not favorable to each other… Its a chain reaction… People want good standing with the big guys, and maybe standing with others, and the economy flows. Get in bad standing, well, hope you’re good at skirmishing.

You can craft product yourself from two input items which are product of other things. Its once giant progression.
Sometimes advanced crafting products make waste, which are valuable, but space constraints mean you might not want them.
Consequently, large capital ships are chucking out valuable objects often that noob players take to buy and sell. One’s man trash is another man’s treasure.
League of Legends is pretty much a trash game run by a trash company, but the only one with a tournament scene, so I’m playing it.
Things wrong with League: #1: It does not matchmake fair, it sets people to lose on purpose due to EA papers on psychology to get people to buy more virt goods. They say it is due to “Behavioral based match making” that all the bad people get clumped together to lose on purpose… But this is just CCP social credit and it doesn’t work. Not everyone deemed bad by algorithm are bad. It’s known as algorithmic damnation and is terrible. Things wrong with League: #2: Power creep. RIOT wants money now, so they rarely nerf, just buff, so the game gets more and more unstable and unbalance… This leads to design restrictions like lowering number of items available last season. They’re going to make it more and more basic with the excuse of it being a casual game soon enough because the game design is already out of hand, and power creep makes it worse and worse to balance.

1/20/22 with Buffed Senna slow on q, you can get approach velocity, fleet footwork and be faster than every champion in combat range. I’ll open on hit speed ups like Black Cleaver, Wits End, Eclipse and lots of big tanky things like Titanic and locket. Should be abusive.

Today on Starfighter General, gonna putz at finishing MOBA, no stress and I’ll do more. I still have adrenal fatigue.
In Asheron’s Call players were encouraged to help new players. If a new player got stuff and tips they could give allegiance. And as the new player earned exp, it helped the veteran. We’ll have that in Starfighter General, but take it to a new level.
For instance, you can forge items with a Spirit Link. Anyone who uses this item starts to gain hidden spirit affinity to your player ( what this means, I will not say at this time), but as they get experience with the item, so will you. You can forge light affinity or dark affinity. Light affinity does not cost the item wielder experience when they funnel to you. Dark affinity does tax the wielder of the item experience, but you who forged the dark affinity item gain power at a faster rate. Light affinity spirit binding is freedom, dark affinity could cost more than just experience in the long run. Both spirit bindings can be shaken off over a long enough period and are not truly permanent, but may last a long time to fully be rid of.
There will be players who seek power by gaining cash, credit or crypto(in game only). There will be players who seek power by friends and allies. There will be players who seek power by making lots of items and hoping people use em with a spirit bond, with those forging dark affinity items seeking to con others. There will be people who seek power by gaining lots of skills, talents, attributes, items and maybe super powers. There will be people who seek power by making a huge fleet. There are others who will pit the leaders (players and Npcs) against each other. There is more than one way to conquer the galaxy. Which ones will you choose? Or you the type of people who just wants to stop others from conquering the galaxy so you can have peace. Normally only a few people stand between you and the way of peace, and this is why the galaxy is in turmoil.

Yo, this is a blog, there are many like it, but this is my blog. This page will fall down in the pages, but I’ll update it still. This is for my own personal reference. I’m getting tons of stuff done.
1/19/2022, Grandmother died last year, family got mean about inheritance, kicked me out, moved to a place with black mold, got tons of health problems, but fought through it and now getting things done. Still in student loan debt in mid 40s, after going to Carnegie Mellon because they suggested I could do disease research if I graduated, but no doors were opened so I got big into game dev. Last year was the craziest year I ever had, and crazier than I heard anyone experience, but at least I didn’t get cancer or something terminal. If I would have written down all the difficult twists and turns I experienced last year, it’d take a year. Lets just say I’m more reliant on God now, and I’m getting things done.
I’m in a 4 games in 4 months challenge. Last month was Throne and Crown on steam ported. This month is Starfighter General MOBA to test the networking. Next month is a table top virtual RPG and custom rule set. Month after that is for a Make a Wish Kid to say he made a video game with me, a Pokemon Go competitor that I designed 9 years before Pokemon Go was even a thing.
