In Dimensional Alignment Patch V, we’re going to give the player the ability to customize items literally anyway: name/graphic/functionality 3d model/ what type of item it is like food or weapon/if it can be combined into new items or what combines into it(minecraft crafting style). Literally NO Creative LIMITS, Make ANY ITEM IMAGINABLE.

Same with Star Systems, Asteroid Belts, Aero/Aqua Nebula, Pirate Dens, Orbits of Planets, Any Zone you can imagine, you can make and be in the game permanently.

Rewards for forging good items/zones: Role Playing Credits which helps your odds of getting in live role play Limited Time Buy of Founders Medallions get first dibs on roleplay of Live Game Masters. But Role Playing Credits are the second biggest factor to get in: Live Omnipotent Game Master sessions where you can change anything in the game and be in a movie. Making items isn’t just fun & cool, you might debut your silver screen debut in the movie theatre. Take a date out,”Hey that malfunctioning robot acted like an idiot was done by me!” As always, we drop you premium Triderium when you contribute.

If you want to send us custom graphics/3d models if you insist on making the perfect item, we can use em too if you want, but we have thousands from you to choose from now, and you can assemble several together like building blocks.

This tech should be available not only in game but eventually for Android Smart Phones! I’m not sure Apple lets developers who don’t own a Mac develop for iphone yet. I want to roll out then, but I can’t afford a Mac right now. Tough affording beans and water, lol. But we’re making a MMORPG anyway without kickstarters, crowdsourcing or even 2$ to my name! Lets go, no one has my back, but The Almighty. No one cares about the small indie… yet we still want to get you fun video games! Gotta love everyone even if you’re not loved, its how life is done.

A) STATISTIC ROLLING: Starfighter General will ‘roll’ your character.

Traditional rolling of characters meant players would sit all day for thousands of rolls til they got the best character, akin to grinding before the game. This is lame so most do not have this.

I give a limited number of rolls per day, so you will run out and play your character while still having the fun of rolling.

There’s little incentive to multi account since there’s enough crew to get a good roll on vs the hassle.

So Starfighter General will have character rolls! I am not aware of other MMORPG able to have cracked the design on this one.

B) SKILLS: Starfighter General uses the Intergalactic Bounty Hunter unpublished RPG ruleset: www.crystalfighter.com/igbh. Its been called the most fun pencil and paper RPG ruleset ever and I wasn’t going to use it since MMOS normally have a different progression, but I dropped down the attributes to fractions knowing D&D online was successful. So get ready for the most fun PNP RPG ruleset ever!!!

Now skills are just like Wasteland, later Fallout series. I took D&D, made armor actually reduce damage(for real), and added skills related to attributes. It rules… Straight rules. Problem is… When you start the game, some skills are super less useful than others… Like in space, you ain’t going to be throwing hand grenades much… Even if you do simulated bar fights on stations, you ain’t goin to be throwing hand grenades as much as repairing your ship or shooting plasma bolts…. So I was at an impasse when letting people choose their skills. I know if I let the character creation go unmodified and people chose skills at the start there would be many many many gimped characters for the first run.

Gimped characters are players who realize they made bad choices in character select weeks ago and then play the game with “buyers remorse” thinking to either remake the character or just push on knowing they’ll never be that strong. As a MMORPG designer, you never want your players to get a “my character is gimped mentality”. It is mitigated by buffing weak stuff in patches, but knowing your core design will lead to it, you have to avoid it.

I did this by removing the starter skill selection screen completely! Instead, you will play the game skill less. You can still attempt using skills in game without a skill, but you have a -5 penalty. You can even learn skills just by getting really lucky using skills over and over again. So its not big deal to start with no skills…

The kicker is when you try to do something in Starfighter General, it will tell you what skill you used so you know what to train later if you like doing that activity a lot. Then you’d have to seek out a trainer for that skill, pay em or do a quest or something. Then boom, you have the skill, consciously knowing you wanted it for what your character would be, viola, no gimping…

Of course your role you want late game may be different than early… Then you may want to roll a new crew member for that purpose. One crew member probably won’t do it all anyway. You do want many crew members for many purposes, especially when you staff your capital ships later.

2) Turn on this research level networking code that has worked for me since 2004, part of it has rollback in it, which is funny since Midway trash talked it when I proposed it to them. Now all fighters have rollback. I had a working in house Tekken meets WOW MMO like a Dragon Ball Z world, so I know it rules. And… it allows infinite action players in the same zone, limited only by rendering hardware… This is why I needed ECS DOTS, we should be able to have battles of 100,000 ships in the same zone, no lag.

So stations you’ll be able to buy/rob from like ol Legacy of the Ancients, my favorite game of all time back when Electronic Arts was a good gaming company. I talked with the author on Linkedin before Linkedin banned me for saying the inclusion movement in corporations does not include Christians, we’re excluded. I’m in the works of a lawsuit for that one, but I may not go through, courts suck.

Apologies, my place has no water and the floor was straight toxic so I couldn’t dev much. Some MMOS get tons of funding. I get the opposite, barely able to scrape by, health conditons, 2 bankaccounts combined less than 5$, no water at this place, some family oppositional to my existence despite being kind to them all my life, you name it. I have the opposite of funding, lolz! Yet my game will be MMO SOON, maybe within just a few weeks.

I made a stupid little party game called: Fart Knight.

It’s 8 v 8 like Super Mario Bros, score a point by passing the enemy’s start.

You have a button to jump and a button to fart. You start with 3 farts. You get replenished when you score a point.

Farting boosts you rapidly forward & anyone right behind you dies from the stench.

You can push a few beans around, but too many and they stall.

Pushing beans is risky because they can turn and fart on you if they have one left.

It’s dumb, fun, and you can expand it.

Comes with .exe and also Unity Project so you can play with it.

Requires a gamepad like XBOX360 or XBOXONE or PSx etc

Dimensional Fragmentation Patch III out

So check it, first off, excuse why the patch took so long. I want to be belting these out 2-4 a week, 1 minimum.

My aunt’s cancer took a turn for the worse, she’s sick having issues walking so I strived hard to make battlemon, an ARPG game designed 9 years before the popular ARPG in parks one done by a major video game franchise. Mine allowed you not just to collect battlemon, but to have actual custom quests in each and every park I write one. They’re like an outdoor escape room, or like a dungeon crawl RPG in each park… Let me explain further…

So when I was like 5 about 40ish years ago, my cousin and I loooved Atari2600 games. Most of my fam did the “Wrap em in gift wrap” for birthdays and Christmas… This looming box was enough to jazz my cousin and I. We saw the box. Nothing else was shaped like an Atari2600 box. So when Christmas was like 3 weeks away, we knew we were getting Atari2600 games, how many, but which one!?! This looming knowledge of an incoming video game made us really appreciate the holidays, when we were born and the birth of God on Earth. We also were able to judge the passing of time as fleeting since Christmas came around pretty fast amazingly enough… Which is even more reason to be good with God, since the only thing that really matters on Earth is humanity loving one another. With all the hate and greed in the world with wars, gang violence, fear being pushed, etc ,I wish people would just chill out and be kind to their fellow bros and soul sistas. Life ain’t what you get, it is what you give.

Anyway, a wrapped up Atari2600 game where it was at! It would jazz us for weeks. However Aunt Linda did one better. Instead of just giving us a gift she’d give us a note which would lead us to a clue. “Look behind your Uncle’s portrait.” There would be another note to another clue,”Inside the dryer is a clue.” And there would be a clue inside the dryer. Eventually we’d be led to the present! It wasn’t always an Atari2600 game, but they knew us as really huge gamers trying to practice to go pro. They knew we played Atari2600 more than anyone around just so we could practice. They knew Atari2600 games were boring, so having more selection helped us not be bored! It was glorious and we were right, pro gaming and video games were the future! I’m so happy for my family’s support, America’s prosperity in the 80s, and God having me born in that era. I know so much about the foundation of video games being there at the very start and I wish to share my museum historian level knowledge on video game with the world.

Well I wanted to get a quest in a park to honor her before things get really bad, so I pushed www.crystalfighter.com/battlemon forward. She thanked me, and now we move forward more on Starfighter General. Also I have fun things to do in parks now!

Starfighter Status:

It’s a dystopic future punk with lots of laughs, yet serious grudge matches vs criminals and exploration and discovery of anomalies… Nothing quite like this that you ever saw… Everyone I showed this RPG said it was the BEST RPG OF ALL TIME, just getting around to publishing it. Pray for me and this game.

Video Games as an Art Form

I started making video games because I wanted to make money and play a game no one ever made before. When the money didn’t come, I found out the pursuit of the art form itself was better than anything money could buy me. Video games are the ultimate art form, using all artistic endeavors man has ever devised and coalescences them into an ultimate symphony. You need painting, drawings, sculpting, music composed, musical notes, writing plots, gripping emotion, architectural alignment, societies with government, presented in a way to impact the audience. On top of the classical respected arts, you have to know how the brain works to reward it cerebrally, animation, action paced reflex situations, puzzles, and more. No other art form demands of all the other art forms and then still needs more. One could say video games are the ultimate art form, case in point: Flappy Bird.

I mused about my art form because it’s totally disrespected, yet is deeper than all that came before… This prompt came from my search from the one composer who said a quote I was looking for akin to,”I’m thrusting a spear into the void no one’s entered, not looking this way or that for inspiration.” If anyone knows that composer or quote, I’d be happy. I wanted to make a secondary quote off it something like,”I’m analyzing the thrown spears of all composers, feeling how close to the target I believe they got, and then averaging their finding where the target is.”

Musing: I explained this in my opener. I wanted to make video games for money. Anyone can make special effects, even 3 year olds and elderly grandmothers. I had someone never use unity before and he was doing great in minutes! Even young kids could get educated on particle effects and UNITY with this!

We’ve all been there, a vending machine takes our change, so we fight the machine… But a machine has nothing to lose, and we can lose more than our change. PSA: Really don’t rock vending machines in real life, they kill people each year.

In Intergalactic Bounty Hunter, one of the first missions has a dark alley way of vending machines, and they becon you in. Before you know it, they close the escape and beat you up. You wake near naked with your inventory stolen. If you go back to the dark alley, you see the vending machines have your stuff inside them for sale. Role Playing Game moment: What do you do?

Starfighter General is based on the unpublished masterpiece Intergalactic Bounty Hunter (IGBH) the RPG play tested for over 10,000 hours, near universally regarded as the best pencil and paper RPG anyone ever played. AMAZING HI-TEC: AI makes Galactic News Network:

Hello,

You might be thinking Creative AI in the future is making the Galactic News Network as scifi. Sorry to disappoint you, but Creative AI TODAY is helping us make the Galactic News Network!

There is a thing known as Dall-E which takes writing prompts you type in and gives you graphics. We were using it figuring we could make graphical presentation when the GNN ticker tape rolls across the bottom of the screen. And that worked phenomenally. Some of the things in graphics gave us new ideas for Starfighter General itself, modern AI had glimpses of being creative?

Then a random idea happened: What if we piped in a random sentence maker into Dall-E? It would give us random images we could look at and have our creativity sparked. At first I thought of getting all words in the dictionary, sorting em by noun, adverb, adjective, verb, etc.. Then I realized we could just word salad into it… Then I figured I’d bias my video game, so the plan became to push all my design documents in.

The algorithm we used is simple: Copy all my web page, all my design documents, parse em, filter out nonsense, and then make sentences 2-6 words long, which we can then write out to a .txt file in a format that a macro script can pipe it into DALLE. It took less than 3 hours and is phenomenal. It is everything we hoped for, and already got us creative new ideas like Monoliths and stuff. Watch the full video here:
